Erlowest Suites Terms And Conditions

Note: 

The Inn is not appropriate for children (any person age 20 or younger) or pets. All 10 suites at the Inn are double occupancy only – the Inn does not allow for more than 2 persons in a room, nor does it supply roll-away cots. The Inn at Erlowest is a no-smoking facility, including our outside patios, as required by New York State law. Room damage or evidence of smoking, excessive noise that is bothersome to other guests, or other disruptive actions will result in a $250.00 fee, along with any repairs expense. Check-in time is after 3:00 PM. Check-out time is 11:00 AM. In order to honor our 3:00 PM check-in time, a late check-out fee of $250.00 is applicable after 11:00 AM. If a late check-out is desired, please let our front desk staff know and we will do our best to accommodate on your behalf at no charge.

Cancellation Policy:

Due to the small size of our inn, cancellations greatly affect us. By completing a reservation with us, you agree to be fully responsible for the full price of your reservation. If you cancel your reservation with more than 14-days notice, we will refund your deposit less a $40.00 fee. For cancellations made 14-days prior to your arrival, no refund is provided. Unfortunately, we will not be able to honor any special rates or promotions for a cancellation and re-booking to a new date if the promotion date has expired. All products added to reservations (i.e.g Chocolate Covered Strawberries, Cheese, Platters, etc.) must be cancelled 48 hours prior to arrival in order to receive a refund.

Incidentals:

All reservations are subject to a $250 pre-authorization hold taken at check-in time on the credit card on file. This hold is released after check-out after any balance has been settled.

Dining Room Policy: 

Please contact the Guest Services Department at (518) 668-5928 to inquire about dining room availability during your stay and to make dinner reservations. Our fine-dining restaurant is small and fills up quickly, so reservations prior to your scheduled arrival date are highly recommended.

Payment & Balances:

All reservations are subject to a $250 pre-authorization hold taken at check-in time on the credit card on file. This hold is released after check-out after any balance has been settled. A one-night non-refundable deposit will be taken upon booking. All reservations must be paid in full 30 days prior to arrival, at which point they become fully non-refundable. If you owe a balance, we will be charging your card on file 30 days prior to your arrival. Please call us in advance if you need to update or change your card on file for payment.

Cancellation & No-Show:

If a guest cancels within 30 days of their scheduled arrival date or does not show for their reservation, they will forfeit their payment in full as well as any nonrefundable deposit. Sun Castle Resort is not responsible for weather conditions, personal emergencies, etc.

Contactless Check-In & Check-Out:

Prior to arrival, guests will receive a message to sign the Registration Card, Boating and Swimming policy and fill out all required information. Check-in begins at 4:00 PM EST and check-out is by 10 AM EST. A key code will be issued to each unit at check in time. Early check-in and late check-out requests cannot be guaranteed. These requests, subject to resort availability and approved at management’s discretion, must be made 48hrs prior to your scheduled departure/arrival date. Any late check out past 10am will incur additional fees up to a full night’s charge.

Housekeeping and Maintenance:

All bedding and bath linens are provided. Beach towels are not provided. Please be aware that our property does not offer daily housekeeping services. We offer a towel exchange service at the lobby between 9am-4pm for any guests wishing to change their dirty towels for fresh towels. Maintenance will collect any bagged garbage on a daily basis. Please place all bagged garbage in the waste receptacle outside your unit in the morning for pick-up.

Damages:

Guests are responsible for any damage to a suite, room, townhouse, villa, or the property grounds. Guests will be billed for any repairs necessary or to replace any missing items. Be advised: a $250 penalty fee, as well as the cost of repair, will be applied to the credit card on file for units requiring excessive cleaning or damage repairs. **The hotel assumes no responsibility for the loss of valuables unless placed in safety deposit boxes located at Guest Reception.

Room Assignments:

While Sun Castle Resort will make every effort to honor specific unit number requests, unit numbers are not guaranteed. Please note this effects specific room numbers, not accommodation types.

Wedding/Group Room Blocks:

Room numbers are subject to change, as the wedding couple or event host may reassign rooms at their discretion.

Additional Information:

This is a non-smoking property. Any signs of smoking inside the unit will result in a minimum $250.00 penalty fee charged to the card on file. All guests and visitors must be listed on the Registration Card or registered with the Guest Services in order to use any facilities on the property.

Pet Policy:

The Erlowest is not pet-friendly. Only ADA-compliant service animals are allowed on the property.

Boat Policy:

All guest boats must be inspected at an official Lake George Boat Inspection Station prior to launching into the lake. Uninspected boats requiring use of our boat launch will be denied access to the property’s boat launch if their boat is not inspected and tagged at an official Lake George Boat Inspection Station.
